With an exciting three-year Strategic Plan underway and a milestone 75th anniversary in 2026, Bayley House is entering a defining period of renewal and opportunity.

About the role:
As the Head of Philanthropy and Marketing, you’ll lead a high-performing team to deliver on Bayley House’s strategic goals across philanthropy, fundraising, communications, and brand.

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Bayley House Board and Foundation, this role combines strategic thinking with hands-on leadership — shaping campaigns that inspire generosity, strengthen partnerships, and elevate Bayley House’s story of impact.

You will:

Develop and deliver a comprehensive philanthropy and fundraising strategy, targeting increased annual revenue and an upcoming capital campaign
Lead a multi-channel marketing and communications plan aligned with the organisation’s Strategic Plan
Oversee the Gala Fundraising Dinner and other key appeals
Nurture high-value relationships with major donors, trusts, and corporate partner
Guide branding, storytelling, and digital engagement across all Bayley House channel
Coach and mentor a capable team including managers for Marketing, Fundraising, and Legacy & Impact

About You
You are a seasoned philanthropy or marketing leader - ideally both - purpose-driven, strategic, and people-focused. You bring creativity and rigour in equal measure, with a passion for storytelling, donor experience, and organisational growth.
Your background will likely include:

Senior fundraising or marketing leadership within a not-for-profit, foundation, or similar organisation
Expertise in developing high-value giving programs and corporate partnerships
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Team leadership experience and a collaborative, empowering style
Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or fundraising

Experience in the disability or community services sector will be highly regarded.
