By coupling our year-round, direct-service programming with our grant-making initiatives and core partnerships, we utilize a unique model as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization to effectively triple our impact in New England and Lee County, Florida. POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role is responsible for assisting the Manager of Giving & Partnerships with coordinating and executing all of the Red Sox Foundation’s internal and external giving initiatives. They will also be tasked with helping systematize various giving initiatives, while growing and expanding the scope, reach and participation of those initiatives. This individual will be responsible for working collaboratively with all departments within the Red Sox Foundation, along with various other individuals and departments at the Boston Red Sox. There is a large focus on Foundation’s Donated Tickets program, which operates across all 81 Boston Red Sox home games, and post-season games.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the Manager of Giving and Partnerships with the execution and development of all internal & external giving initiatives, including:
Donated Tickets Program: Execute the distribution of donated tickets to various community organizations for each Boston Red Sox home game in the regular and post-season. Support with evaluation and reporting.
Core Partner Management: Serve as a liaison between the Foundation and the Foundation’s core partners, in collaboration with the Foundation’s Development Team, as appropriate: the Dimock Center, Home Base Program and the Jimmy Fund.
New England Service Scholarships: Assist with the creation, distribution and review of applications. Support sponsor integration. Assist with recipient communications. Support the Game Day Ceremony and reporting.
The IMPACT Awards: Assist with the creation, distribution and review of applications. Support sponsor integration. Assist with recipient communications. Support the Game Day Ceremony and reporting.
Little League Stipend Program: Assist with the creation, distribution and review of applications. Support sponsor integration. Assist with recipient communications. Support the Game Day Ceremony.
Charitable Giving: Assist with the online process of grant submissions, including the review and preparation of Committee meetings. Support with recipient communications and quarterly reporting.
Support the Manager of Giving & Partnerships with all internal and external inquiries for partnership with the Red Sox Foundation.
Work collaboratively with the Manager of Giving & Partnerships to migrate all Giving Initiative data and information into Salesforce to improve tracking, communications, evaluations and reporting.
Work collaboratively with the Manager of Giving & Partnerships to innovate, improve and grow all giving initiatives to ensure larger impact across New England.
Work collaboratively with RSF staff to support fundraising and programming efforts as necessary.

CHARACTERISTICS / QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong work ethic and desire to support youth and families in our communities.
Works well under pressure and is able to multitask with strong organizational skills.
Strong teamwork, organization, communication, and group facilitation skills.
Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from a variety of backgrounds.
Self-starter with the ability to work in fast-paced, unstructured, and frequently changing environments.
Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
Salesforce experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required.
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
