The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Not-for-Profit Audit Manager firmwide in our NY and NJ offices. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Manage nonprofit audit engagements from start to finish, which includes planning, executing, directing, completing audit projects and managing to budgets
Supervise, train, and mentor staff on projects
Act as a point of contact for nonprofit clients, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional service
Promote team environment by building and maintaining rapport with fellow employees
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance processes and systems
Produce deliverables that are clear, concise, thorough, and of professional quality and are completed in a timely manner
Assess performance of staff for engagement reviews

Minimum Qualifications

CPA license
5+ years of progressive audit experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Ability to work in a team environment, supervise staff and lead projects
Ability to work full-time and additional hours as needed
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in public accounting
Understanding of computer software packages and platforms including Microsoft Office Suite, ProSystem Engagement and CCH Axcess

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000annually, based on experience, skills, and location.
