The Europe/Africa Office, situated in Zurich, is part of the Rotary International Secretariat with its headquarters in Evanston, Illinois/USA. The mission of our 40 employees is to provide efficient and high-quality service to Rotarians in Europe and Africa and support them in attaining the objectives of Rotary.

Philanthropy & Grants Specialist - 100%
“DACH”, Eastern Europe and the broader Middle East

Your Contributions to the Team

You are the main contact person for Rotarians from the assigned region
You provide information and guidance to clubs and districts on matters regarding The Rotary Foundation, e.g., grant criteria, contribution information, recognition and awards
You review, authorize and close grant applications
You collect Best Practices, which allow you to provide extensive support to members about their foundation engagement
You engage yourself in teamwork and actively contribute to internal workgroups
You design and deliver presentations for various training events

What you bring

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and at least 3-5 years of experience in a customer centric role
Proficiency in both German and English is essential. Other European languages will be considered an asset
Experience directly related to the administration of non-profit grant programs
Excellent communication skills, including public speaking
Good organisational skills and excellent MS Office skills
Keen interest in, and familiarity with the culture of the assigned regions
