· Recruit and develop staff with a strong commitment in building genuine relationships. Supports the ongoing recruiting, hiring, training, development and supervision of the branch leadership team.
· Supports the development of total branch operating budget; monitors the branch’s monthly operating budget with team, ensures monthly forecasting is proactive and establish path to meet or exceed annual budget targets.
· Assures that high-quality relationship-based member engagement strategies are in practice. Models relationship-building skills in all interactions with staff, volunteers, members, and the community.
· Works conscientiously and continually to create a Y environment that is fully inclusive and deeply appreciative of diversity, equity and social justice.
· Fosters a climate of innovation to develop member-focused programs that support the Y mission, goals, and strategies.
· Ensures the safety and maintenance of high-quality facilities, grounds, and equipment.
· Coordinates with the Advisory Board chair a robust board development effort. Seeking a variety of diverse and qualified leaders to support the branch annual fundraising, strategic and mission impact goals.
· Represents and promotes the YMCA in the local community and develops positive working relationships with other organizations, businesses, and governmental entities.
· Seeks, cultivates and models collaborative relationships with community agencies in service delivery area.
· Coordinates branch marketing and communication efforts with VP of Marketing and Communication to ensure proactive and effective communication of the branch’s community benefit and impact.
· Supports the overall objectives of The Granite YMCA.
