Asif is a non-profit organization and culinary center in Tel Aviv dedicated to cultivating and nurturing Israel’s diverse and creative food culture, a joint venture of the New York City-based Jewish Food Society and Tel Aviv’s Start-Up Nation Central.
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Development Coordinator to support our fundraising and global partnership efforts.
This role supports securing resources and building relationships to sustain Asif’s mission of preserving and promoting Israeli food culture.
The coordinator will play a key part in grant writing, donor communication, database management, and logistical support for events and initiatives.
- Language Skills: Native English and fluent Hebrew (written and spoken).
- Experience: 1-3 years in fundraising, grant writing, or development, and 3-5 years in administration.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Experience with donor management software- a plus.
- Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, strong communication skills, and passion for Israeli culinary arts.
- Grant Writing & Reporting: Research, write, and submit grant proposals. Prepare impact reports for donors.
- Database Management: Build, maintain and update donor databases. Generate fundraising reports.
- Email & Communication: Write donor emails, fundraising appeals, and newsletters.
- Administrative Support: Schedule travel, assist with scheduling meetings and help plan logistics for fundraising events.
- Hybrid Work Model: 4 days a week at the office and 1 day from home.
