DescriptionThe Social Impact Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing community engagement and outreach programs that promote social responsibility within the sports club. This role focuses on leveraging the power of sports to produce positive social change, enhance community relationships, and empower underrepresented groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community programs and initiatives that align with the club’s social impact goals.
- Collaborate with local organizations, schools, and community leaders to identify needs and opportunities for engagement.
- Track and measure the impact of social programs and report findings to stakeholders.
- Organize events and activities that promote social inclusion, health, and well-being through sports.
- Advocate for policies and practices that support diversity, equity, and inclusion within the club and the broader community.
- Assist in fundraising and securing grants for social impact initiatives.
- Create engaging content for newsletters, social media, and other communication channels to highlight programs and their outcomes.
- Maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to foster collaboration.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in community outreach, program development, and evaluation.
- Strong understanding of social issues faced by underserved communities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for sports and its role in society.
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic is a must
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within the sports industry or nonprofit sector.
- Familiarity with grant writing and fundraising strategies.
