Compensation Grade: 15
Job Description
“How can we help you?” Those may be welcome words to a worker who has been injured on the job. As a claims assistant at SAIF, you’ll work with adjusters and others to ensure that injured workers receive timely and accurate information. It’s one of the most important parts of the workers’ compensation process. To do it well, you’ll need to be fast, accurate, organized, and dedicated to helping others.
SAIF is looking for claims assistants. This position offers lots of opportunities to learn and grow. You’ll be tracking down medical records, preparing documents, setting up appointments, auditing payments, and assisting with questions from injured workers, policyholders, attorneys, and medical providers. You’ll also be joining a diverse culture that embraces health and wellness, community, inclusion, and sustainability. And you’ll have a little fun, too.
We’re looking for someone with an excellent command of the three Cs—customer service, computer, and clerical skills—to join our fast-paced team. If you’re ready to make a difference for Oregon workers and employers, don’t delay. Please apply today.
Note: Flexible workers may be required to travel to SAIF’s offices in Salem or Portland.
