The Nigerian Women Trust
Fund (NWTF) was created in 2011 to increase the
representation of women in Nigeria’s governance system at all levels and address the growing concerns about
the gender imbalance in elective and appointive positions. The Nigerian Women
Trust Fund (NWTF) as
a national organization that works across the 36 states and the Federal Capital
Territory, Abuja is a nonpartisan organization. NWTF runs with a vision of a
Nigeria where women and men engage equally in governance leading to National Development NWTF’s thematic focus include:

recruiting to fill the position below:

Reporting
to: Chief Executive Officer
About the
Role:
The Consultant is responsible for writing a baseline report upon which monitoring, and evaluation can be carried out.
Specific
Tasks
·Provide sufficient data and information to
validate a project’s logical framework ahead of implementation.
- Capture changes in the
views, attitudes and behaviors of intended beneficiaries (women in
politics, political parties and electoral integrity) from 1999-2022 and
give a projection of future trends.
- Identify and source
secondary sources where the information is available.
·Produce a baseline report that adequately provides the background for
the implementation of the project with recommendations from findings.
- The Baseline Survey would serve as a
foundation for impact to be measured at the end of the project.
Deliverables:
Production of a
baseline report that establishes the take off point for the expected results in
the implementation of an approved project. validated log frame, and work-plan.
Requirements
EducationalQualifications:
Advance Degree or certification in Political Science, Public Policy and Management, Gender and Development Studies, International Relations, or any
related field.A Master’s Degree in development or a related
field is an added advantage.
Experience:
·At least 5 years of professional
experience working in one or more of the following areas: public policy
analysis, gender and electoral
process, development, strategic and action planning, gender
equality and women’s empowerment training.
·Relevant working experience in
conducting primary research (quantitative methods, qualitative methods)
promoting gender equality in all aspects of electoral and governance processes
or related fields.
·Demonstrated experience in
developing quality research methodology involving multiple countries
consultations and extensive desktop review.
·Possess solid political acumen,
but not partisan.
Core
skills:
·Good command of written and
spoken English Language is essential.
·A good knowledge of women’s political
participation issues, and an active interest in the workings of civil society.
