We are currently searching for a temporary Administrative Assistant for an Higher Education Nonprofit. The position is full-time, temporary in-person in Washington, DC.

POSITION TITLE: Administrative Assistant
SCHEDULE: 35 hours/week
DURATION: Temporary (1-2 months)
HOURLY PAY: $20-22.00/hour
Is This Your Dream Job: This Organization is seeking a full-time, temporary Administrative Assistant to provide close administrative support to the President including scheduling, document prep and technological back up. The organization is based in Dupont Circle and they use MS Office and Zoom applications regularly. This position will provide support to the President and other stakeholders for an upcoming annual meeting at the end of the month.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2+ years of relevant administrative or secretarial experience
- Highly proficient with MS Office and Zoom
- Comfortable providing technical assistance to a senior executive
- Experience with annual meeting planning, logistics and programming a plus
How You Will Spend Your Day:
- Provide administrative and technical support to the Organization’s president
- Support setting up zoom meetings for both internal and external events and shareholders
- Support the president with preparations for upcoming annual meeting including drafting documents, preparing edits and zoom technical assistance
- Other duties as assigned
