Raptors are beneficial to humans because they feed on carrion, thereby reducing harmful effects. However, despite their importance, raptors get little conservation attention and are becoming increasingly threatened. To address this gap, WWF India has initiated raptor conservation. WWF-India is seeking dynamic and self-motivated biologists who are passionate about conducting research and conservation activities to support raptors and overall environmental well-being. The candidate will be responsible for on-ground actions for raptor and habitat conservation, including data analysis and producing high-quality technical outputs. Other responsibilities include facilitating the development of proposals for conservation projects, supporting project management and monitoring and evaluation, engaging with key stakeholders (government and non-government agencies), and contributing to conservation research and technical output development. This position will be based in a field location within the Brahmaputra Landscape (Assam).
