The Terraces, a 148 bed residential aged care facility located in Varsity Lakes. It is near the beautiful beaches of the Gold Coast, as well as several shopping centres, schools, public transport, restaurants and a vast range of health and community services.
About the Opportunity
As an Receptionist/Administration Officer you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Administration Officer, our hardworking team and the wonderful residents and their families with the day to day running of our busy aged care home.
With no two days the same, your duties will expand across multiple functions including rostering, admissions, reception, documentation/record management and compliance.
This role is 9 month permanent part time, contract role, working 4 days per week, 8.30 am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday.
About You
To be successful, you'll need:
- Experience in Administration (aged care or healthcare desirable)
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and ability to use and learn various systems e.g., quality management system, databases and rostering systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills to manage and multiple prioritise tasks.
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Complete a police check
- NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- 2024 Flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations
