Position Overview:
Provide transportation and supervise visitations for children in the Permanency Services Program, supporting reunification efforts and promoting child well-being. Collaborate with families, staff, and external agencies to meet program goals and ensure compliance with case plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport children and supervise family visitations.
- Document activities and prepare case files for audits.
- Educate families on parenting, child development, and essential skills.
- Provide trauma-informed emotional support and crisis intervention.
- Coordinate with public and private agencies to deliver services.
- Maintain strong relationships with families and team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma and 2 years of experience in child and family services.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Work Environment:
- Moderate physical activity (e.g., lifting up to 25 lbs).
- Combination of indoor and outdoor work with occasional exposure to weather.
Accountabilities:
- Ensure effective transportation and visitation support.
- Support family reunification efforts and maintain documentation accuracy.
