Catholic Charities, is seeking a Bookkeeper with previous non-profit or medical billing experience. The ideal candidate will have at least an Associate Degree and three or more years of related work history. Our Finance team is grounded in the principle of stewardship. We offer solid accounting and finance practices to ensure the integrity and accuracy of our agency's finances.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and deposit cash receipts.
- Post cash receipts (including ACH payments received) in general and subsidiary ledgers and client accounts.
- Assist with account reconciliations.
- Assist with the monthly closing process.
- Complete transfers and adjustments to client records, as needed.
- Maintain account posting spreadsheets.
Previous experience in medical billing will contribute to success in this position.
