Transitional Housing Program Manager
Position Summary:
Plan, direct, or coordinate the activities of a Transitional Housing Program Plus (THP Plus) which provides affordable housing and supportive services to youth formerly in the foster care and juvenile probation systems. Oversee policies regarding participant involvement, program requirements, and benefits. Work will involve managing Transitional Housing Program (THP) Case Managers.
Essential Duties:
- Acquires, maintains, teaches and demonstrates knowledge of Continuum of Care, Shared Core Practice Model, evidence-based practices, and trauma-informed care and maintains a professional environment that is consistent with Title 22, licensing regulations, and established agency policies.
- Oversees staff preparation and submission of timely care plans, progress notes, incident reports, and other documentation in appropriate formats and within time frames set by contractual and agency requirements
- Meets regularly with other program managers to ensure interdepartmental communication and consistency, integration of program and mental health functions, and to identify areas for improvement or further development.
- Participates in interdisciplinary treatment/services planning.
- Coordinates staff schedules and personal requests of direct reports.
- Sets clear, measurable and specific goals for assigned staff and meets weekly for review.
- Provides specific performance feedback to staff, both positive and corrective, as soon as possible after event or action.
- Provides supervision to ensure the effective implementation of program activities and adherence to guidelines. Maintains a professional environment that is consistent with existing contracts, licensing regulations, and established agency policies.
- May assist with specific cases to develop staff, as needed
Minimum Qualifications
MA/MS in Social Work, Human Services, or other relevant field required. Two years of experience working with adolescents/ young adults required. Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
Additional Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted California driver�s license and current vehicle insurance. Must be able to successfully complete and maintain required certifications and training including, but not limited to First Aid/CPR.
Salary Range : $71,760 - $93,288
The posted pay scale for this position serves as a general disclosure. Actual pay offered within the range will be dependent on individual factors such as skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
