We're looking to appoint a 'Work Area Leader / Tutor' to work within our provision in Llancarfan, Vale of Glamorgan.

Garnllwyd Barns

You’ll be working with a small group of five residents. You’ll need good communication skills and be able to get stuck-in alongside our residents, helping them with cooking, shopping, hobbies and socialising. See inside Garnllwyd Barns .

Requirements

Previous experience within an additional learning needs provision would be desirable. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in arts and crafts.

To be successful in this post, you will need effective communication and inter-personal skills. This will include being able to organise and manage supporting staff and learners within your area of responsibility. Y ou'll also be expected to plan activities for the learners and help them produce quality items that they can sell.
