Working at Strode Park House (in Herne, Kent), you will have the chance to deliver excellent standards of food without the need for split shifts and long weeks. Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for creating nutritious, flavoursome and well-balanced menus whilst working with residents to tailor menus around them.

We are offering this permanent role on a full-time basis of 39 hours per week. The rate of pay is £11.94 per hour.
As a Cook at Strode Park House, you will be expected to:
- Ensure residents' dietary needs are met.
- Design menus for residents.
- Liaise with the Registered Home Manager to plan and cost menus.
- Provide a balanced nutritious diet, making the best use of available fresh foods.
- Ensure full compliance with all food hygiene and safety regulations.

Our ideal Cook will have:
- Experience of food preparation
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative and engaging way.
- Knowledge of allergens, and special dietary requirements.
- Knowledge and experience of food hygiene requirements.
It would be an advantage if you have experience in preparing food for people with specific dietary needs.
