them. You can make a difference to their lives in this fulfilling, hybrid role,
3.5 days per week, working around your existing schedules and commitments.

Who we are
GDA is a local
deaf charity whose vision is of a society that actively supports ways to break
down
communication
barriers for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
The people whom
GDA supports include adults and children who have been born deaf or hard
of hearing or
who have acquired a hearing loss later in life.
Our services
include communication support, support for children and young people and their
families,
listening aid equipment, hearing aid clinics and home assessments, lip reading
classes
and a whole
range of social activities to reduce social isolation.
What you’ll
do
- You’ll support
the CEO in managing the administration of the charity, everything from
arranging and minuting board meetings to scanning invoices.
- Manage the CEO’s
diary
- Create and
manage administrative processes and procedures for the charity
- Support the CEO
in organising events
- Anything else
that needs doing to help the CEO manage and run the GDA effectively.
Requirements
You must
have
- A strong
organisational ability and can do attitude
- Be the type of
person that rolls up their sleeves and gets things done
- Be a confident
user of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.
