Nestled in the heart of Southwest Georgia, the Albany Area YMCA serves as a vital community anchor for Albany, Leesburg, Dawson, Camilla, Sylvester, Newton, and Americus. Strategically located along the Flint River, this YMCA provides essential services and state-of-the-art facilities to meet the unique needs of each of these diverse communities. - Expand YMCA childcare services:
- Reach capacity at three current programs (2023).
- Open a new site serving 60 children (2024).
