The amount of outdoor recreation opportunities is remarkable. Portland has a reputation for being one of the great food cities of the world, and the state produces a long list of great cheeses, wines, beers, fruits and vegetables. The arts are alive and well in Portland, and its neighboring communities with live theatre, music, and dance. From cottage industry crafts to curated museum exhibitions, Portland enjoys it all!
