Job Summary
Manages an active portfolio of approximately 80 prospects in all aspects of the gift cycle—identifies potential donors, qualifies their capacity to give/pledge $25,000 or more, cultivates relationships to understand donor interests, solicits donations, and stewards gifts. Plans and executes required travel locally, regionally and nationally and completes contact and call reports in a timely fashion on the Raiser’s Edge platform. Works collaboratively with peer Advancement/Foundation staff, university staff and volunteers to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward donors. Assists with department and university programming and initiatives in support of fundraising goals.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of professional experience in fundraising or related non-profit organizational work, alumni relations, sales or closely related field. Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree. Demonstrated success in building donor/client relationships.
