About Our Team:
The Resident Services team provides transformative affordable and supportive housing and elevates the voices of the communities we serve that are disproportionately affected by systemic inequities. PPL provides 1,600 housing units and serves nearly 13,000 people annually in the Twin Cities, aiding in long-term stable housing so that our community can live their best lives. PPL integrates race equity organization-wide through multiple strategies and systems change initiatives.
Job Summary:
We are hiring two Supportive Housing Services Managers. Program Managerswill provide leadership over high-quality services for families in supportivehousing. These services include housing transition, tenancy sustaining,behavioral health, financial stability, community engagement, and youth andparenting programs. The manager is responsible for program design, management,and supervision of Family Services Coordinators, Youth Services Coordinators,and Community Support Specialists, ensuring that families achieve long-termstability and success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee program design, service delivery, staffing, and budget management to support housing stability.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners (e.g., child protection, schools, mental health agencies).
- Manage and maintain partnerships and Memorandums of Understanding with service providers and agencies.
- Ensure accurate data entry into systems like Apricot to track services and measure outcomes for stakeholders.
- Assist with contract compliance, reporting, and financial planning for HUD, MN Housing, and other agencies.
- Represent the organization in supportive housing communities and external initiatives.
- Lead and support day-to-day operations, including special projects, administrative tasks, and staff support.
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and interns for youth and family programs.
- Develop and implement "Best Practices" for service delivery and staff development.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, and manage a team of 4–8 staff and interns.
- Provide coaching, performance evaluations, and discipline as needed to maintain high-quality service delivery.
- Offer case consultation and crisis intervention support to staff and participants.
- Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in supervision, talent management, and program design.
- Strong background in case management and direct service delivery for diverse populations.
- Expertise in addressing mental health, chemical health, domestic violence, homelessness, and re-entry challenges.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with community resources, data management, and grant reporting.
- Commitment to equity and inclusion in serving diverse communities.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years’ experience working with diverse and formerly homeless populations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and database systems like Apricot.
- Familiarity with office equipment and electronic timecard systems.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, education, or a related field (additional experience may substitute for education).
- 5+ years of experience working with diverse and formerly homeless populations.
- 5 + years experience in social work, Human Services, or another closely related field.
Salary: $61,000- $64,000 Annually DOQ

PPL's work structure has evolved into a Hybrid Model where available, striking a balance between on-site presence at the office or satellite locations and remote work from home based on the program's needs. Working with your supervisor to find the right balance for your team will evolve over time
