Title: Grants and Contracts Administrator
Location: Lakewood, CO
Starting Pay: $57,533 annually
Hours: M-F day shift (full-time)
OVERVIEW
Researches and applies for grant and RFPs funding opportunities that support the company mission, vision, services, and programs. Tracks and reports on grant funds throughout the year. Develops and assists in maintaining agency wide contract tracking database. Organize and promote fundraising events.

- Actively research and apply for funds throughout the year to support program sustainability and organizational capacity building.
- Ensure that all grant/RFP applications have been thoroughly researched for accuracy and are a cohesive fit for the mission, vision, and programs.
- Write and submit grant applications that are professional, timely and meet application requirements.
- Develop and keep current a calendar and timeline to track grants and other funding opportunities
- Collaborate with department staff in evaluating, planning, organizing, and writing of their specific grant applications.
- Help build relationships with potential funding partners.
- Organize, plan and promote fundraising events.
- Gather and compile all grant related documentation for each grant funded project throughout the course of each project to ensure that documentation requirements (or grant requirements?) are adhered to.
- Submit required documentation to the funding agencies for each grant funded project.
- Prepare invoices to the grant funding agencies for reimbursement of grant funding.
- Prepare reports and correspondence as needed.
- Monitor and provide analysis and feedback related to compliance of grant funded projects to ensure general and specific requirements of grants are adhered to.
- Provide information to staff to ensure proper recording of grants for financial records.
- Develop a contract/vendor agreement library and repository for organization’s contracts and contract provisions
- Assist in drafting vendor agreements
- Create contract calendar to track status and key dates
- Drive personal car to court, jail and/or other sites as required, including in adverse weather
- Attend required trainings and meetings, apply skills and knowledge.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from accredited four-year college or university in a related field; and one to two years related experience and/or training in generating and monitoring grant revenue streams; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated experience in successfully completing all aspects of grants/RFPs process
- Demonstrated ability to enter data, generate reports and create communications from variety of software programs and databases
- Demonstrated ability to successfully research, evaluate, write and submit professional grants
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Excellent time management skills, ability to plan and meet timelines
- Knowledge of the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and appropriate techniques and practices for the client population.
- Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Company staff, stakeholders, and with diverse client base.
- Must pass background check and have ability to access state criminal databases
