Our client is a development humanitarian organization, looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm
Corporate Engagement (40%)
Manage a portfolio of existing and potential foreign business partners, focusing on providing effective communication and engagement opportunities that foster relationships and lead to investment to benefit the most vulnerable children.
Hold meetings, develop materials and proposals, issue solicitations, and execute necessary follow-up to expand the conversation and acquire sponsorship from international and numerous firms in Vietnam.
Develop high-touch, long-term relationships with corporate and other funders, as well as demonstrating effectiveness in asking and securing their contributions.
Develop a pipeline of corporate assistance by finding, investigating, and engaging foreign and international firms.
Create a plan and timetable for business partnership development, solicitation, and execution, working with the Operations, GAM, and technical program teams as appropriate.
Create assets and uncover new creative possibilities to give value to partners and improve corporate involvement, such as appreciation and recognition programs.
Work with the Communications and Public Engagement team to create material and support business collaborations through social media.
Respond to donor and partner inquiries and requests; address issues in a timely way.
Private Non-Sponsorship (PNS) proposal development (40%)
Communicate with Support Offices about PNS prospects.
Maintain and prioritize the opportunity pipeline with corporations and foundations.
Coordinate with Area Programs and technical program teams to create and write corporate submissions and solicitation materials.
Make recommendations for a Go/No-Go study of PNS opportunities to serve the most vulnerable children.
Provide relevant advice and support to ensure that PNS initiatives meet donor criteria.
Assist Area Programs in preparing reports and documentation for PNS initiatives as needed by sponsors.
Capacity Building for Corporate Engagement and PNS Proposal Development (5%)
Support the Joint Marketing Area Program (JMAP initiative) (10%)
Support a digital marketing strategy that is consistent with and supportive of the SOs' digital marketing plan.
Set up and support the execution of Alternative funds projects to boost sponsorship and non-sponsorship funds in need.
Others (5%)
Responsible for personal security, identifying and responding to dangers, and ensuring the safety of the staff and property through training.
Contribute to team performance by performing additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
Education qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in development, public policy, or a related discipline, with at least 5 years of direct experience working in business sectors or fundraising.
- Research, advocacy, communication skills and training.
- Training, expertise, and experience in cross-cutting sectors such as gender equality, disability and social inclusion, and the environment.
- Knowledge and expertise in comprehensive community development.
Skills
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal, representation, and networking skills, as well as the ability to establish and manage strategic partnerships with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication abilities with a variety of audiences.
- Outstanding writing, presenting, and reporting abilities.
Experience
- Have 5-8 years of experience in the development sector, including 5 years of corporate engagement and fund-raising.
- Responsible for extensive knowledge development programs, fund-raising, and CSR compliance.
