Our Mission
Quill.org's mission is to help low-income students become strong readers, writers, and critical thinkers. We build free online tools that use artificial intelligence to automatically grade and serve feedback on student writing, helping students to revise their work and quickly build their skills.
Quill.org has enabled more than six million low-income students to write and receive feedback on more than two billion sentences. Our nonprofit is backed by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Robin Hood Foundation, and
Google.org, among others. In 2018, Fast Company named
Quill.org one of the
Top 10 Most Innovative Education Companies alongside Duolingo, Sesame Workshop, and Coursera.
