Position Summary


The Director, Treasury & Risk Management will manage the Company’s treasury operations, as well as its insurance risk and enterprise risk management programs. Key responsibilities include:  directing and oversight of cash management & forecasting; ensuring adequate liquidity for operational and strategic needs; and leading global insurance renewals and quarterly risk management process. The position will have direct responsibility for a full time Senior Treasury Analyst. 


Primary Roles and Responsibilities


Treasury Operations

  • Manage daily cash positioning and 13-week rolling cash flow forecasting to minimize borrowing costs. Actively monitor and assess the cash forecast, analyzing differences between forecast and actuals, coordinating with accounting and financial analysis teams as required to support cash flow-related management and Board reporting. 
  • Work with affiliated Distributors to ensure excess cash is distributed timely to corporate.
  • Establish and maintain banking relationships, compliance with credit facilities, and manage bank fee structures.
  • Provide recommendations for revolving credit facility borrowings and repayments on a timely basis to ensure that cash flow is adequate to support business needs and that debt balances are managed to reduce costs. 
  • Ensure outgoing wire transfers and ACH’s are executed on a timely basis within the Company’s internal control framework. 
  • Review bank account structure and make recommendations for increased efficiency. Prepare a regular bank fee analysis that can be used by the Company to assess banking relationships and cost saving opportunities. 
  • Implement global treasury systems and controls. 
  • Lead pre- and post-acquisition integration activities to ensure continuity of payment and receipt processing.
  • Manage the Company’s expense reporting system (Certify/Emburse).
  • Mange the Company’s corporate/purchasing card program, including monthly reporting of spend to functional leaders and adherence to required documentation retention standards.
  • Provide support to Accounting and FP&A on ad hoc/special projects. 

Risk Management

  • Lead the renewal process for all global insurance programs, quantify risk exposures, and work closely with the insurance brokers on activities which include domestic and international exposures and insurance related issues.
  • Evaluate and assess corporate insurance programs, including liability, property, D&O, and other coverage, to identify areas for improvement in terms of cost and coverage.
  • Manage and oversee annual data gathering process for all lines of insurance including completion of required applications.
  • Oversee the maintenance and distribution of certificates of insurance.
  • Partner with internal business units and Legal on claims management and resolution
  • Maintain policies and procedures to manage and mitigate risk across the organization effectively.
  • Quarterly, update risk register for new, emerging and changes in enterprise risk management. 
Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Math, Systems or other analytical area of study. 
  • Experience: +7 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement). 
  • An advanced degree (MBA/Macc) or certification (CPA/CMA/CFA) preferred, but not required 

Other Knowledge, Skills Or Abilities Required

  • Self-motivated individual that works well as part of a team but is also able to be a strong individual contributor. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Experience with acquisitions or multi-site integrations 
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, word processing and Adobe. 
  • Strong organizational skills to plan and prioritize workflow. 
  • Experience preparing analysis and presentations for the C-Suite
