We are currently recruiting for a permanent Service Leader Level 3 to manage a supported living servicein South Gosforth in Newcastle. You will be responsible for leading a team of 31+ Support Workers and Advanced Support Workers in a large service, where we deliver individualised support to 6 individuals with learning disabilities, communication difficulties and autism, so previous experience in the social care sector is vital.
This service is also supported by a Service Leader Level 1, who you will be responsible for supervising and supporting, ensuring they have the necessary training and support to be successful in their role.
In addition to being comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role, you should hold a professional qualification in Health and Social Care, i.e. Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ/NVQ etc.
Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate should hold a UK driving license and have access to their own car.
This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours per week and the hours will generally be Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm. We have an on-call team who support outside of working hours, so there is no requirement to be available for on-call duties.
