The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee (CFMT) is seeking a Part-Time Temporary Project Support professional to assist with our annual Power of the Purse® event. This role will provide critical support for event logistics, auction management, donor engagement, and administrative tasks leading up to and during the event.
The Power of the Purse® is evolving into an exciting cocktail fundraiser celebrating women, connection, and impact. This dynamic evening will feature:
- Innovative dishes crafted by talented female chefs
- Signature cocktails and live entertainment
- An online andlive auction showcasing curated purses and exclusive items
We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can contribute to the success of this signature event.
Position Details
- Must be able to start by March 17th
- Hours: 10-15 hours per week within a traditional workweek, with flexibility
- Increased Hours: Up to 6 hours per day from April 7 – April 11 and 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM on April 15th for the event
- Location: Onsite at CFMT and OZ Arts Nashville
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Compensation: $25-$30/hour – based on skills and experience
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the ticketing and online auction platform (OneCause) in coordination with an external support team
- Accept, catalog, and track donated auction items
- Monitor and track event RSVPs
- Follow up with donors and sponsors
- Coordinate with the finance team on event-related contributions
- Assist with general event preparation and logistics
- Provide day-of event management support
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven ability to quickly learn and navigate software systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience providing administrative support
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic event environment
- Previous experience in event planning (preferred)
- Experience with charity auctions (preferred)
