The ORR Department is ready to hire a Recreational Coordinator to join our team.

We seek compassionate, energetic, and dependable individuals committed to building a culture of kindness for the children receiving services. 

In this role, you are responsible for planning and facilitating onsite and offsite enrichment and recreational activities for youth. You will ensure activities are age-appropriate, supervise outings, and maintain activity schedules. The Recreational Coordinator provides direct care, fosters positive relationships with youth, and supports cultural and life skills programming.

Qualifications

To be considered you must have:

  • HS Diploma or GED AND 1-2 years of paid experience working in a youth services field
  • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire
  • Must have a valid Arizona Driver’s License and pass the Agency driver’s test.
  • Must be able to display verbal and written communication skills that meet the requirements of the position and the needs of clients.
  • Must have experience in word processing in a Windows environment.

 

You are a star candidate if you have the above, and:

  • Experience with recreational planning for youth
  • Previous Direct Care Service experience with youth
  • Previous experience transporting clients
