This new position at Arabella is an exciting opportunity for someone to shape equity and belonging at Arabella and within the social sector which is the primary market we serve. Reporting to the Chief People, this position will lead the implementation of firm-wide strategies to continuously advance equity and belonging across Arabella.
The Senior Director of Equity and Belonging will work collaboratively with leaders and Employee Resource Groups across the firm to operationalize equity and belonging at the team level at the team level, to partner with the Chief People Officer and the People Team in setting and implementing firmwide strategic priorities, and to facilitate firmwide employee experience and culture change initiatives.
This role will require someone who has a deep commitment to both individual and collective equity and belonging and is excited about the complexity and ambiguity that comes from: juggling multiple stakeholders’ needs, business needs, cultural dynamics and projects; walking alongside people in their lived experience at Arabella; and working across teams, projects, and lines of business on a regular basis. This person must have fluency in growing and scaling businesses and have an understanding of the current DEI environment.

This position must be based in Washington, DC, Chicago, IL, Durham, NC, New York, NY, or San Francisco, CA. We work in a hybrid environment to ensure continued flexibility for staff, while deepening our strong culture rooted in collaboration and in-person interactions between colleagues. We expect that after initial onboarding, all Arabellans will have the choice of two hybrid schedules. Our hybrid schedule options include Flex, with 1-2 days per week in the office, or Office-based, with 3+ days per week in the office (or more if preferred) and the remaining days working at home/remotely. Total Rewards (compensation and benefits)
This will be a full-time position. We offer a competitive and holistic total rewards package that includes salary, bonus, and benefits. Our compensation ranges are based on national compensation benchmarks for similar organizations.
The annual salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000, and this position has an annual bonus potential of 10%.
We consider national benchmark indicators along with job related skills, experience and relevant education and training, to determine compensation that is fair and competitive.
