Position Summary
Seeking adjunct faculty with interest to teach across our Nonprofit Leadership Masters program including:
  • Introduction to Nonprofit Leadership
  • Strategic Planning
  • Program Design and Evaluation
  • Nonprofit Finance
  • Nonprofit Fundraising
  • Nonprofit Governance
  • Leadership
  • Marketing and Communications
  • HR, Legal Issues, and Ethics
  • Capstone (research practicum)

Essential Duties
• Teach assigned course(s).
• Prepare course materials consistent with departmental learning objectives.
• Provide timely grading and feedback to students.
• Provide guidance and support to students.
• Participate in Nonprofit Leadership faculty community of practice to discuss and redesign course trajectory as needed.
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience as a practitioner in the nonprofit sector.
• Knowledge and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous teaching experience with adult learners, though not necessarily at collegiate level.
• Advanced degree relevant to the topic taught is preferred.
• Willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
• Skilled at facilitating interactive online learning experiences, both live (e.g. zoom sessions) and asynchronous (e.g. developing interactive assignments and modules for engaging learning)
