Objectives:

  • Assists in developing and implementing an annual marketing plan including targeted digital strategies. Collaborates cross functionally to determine effective tactics and deliverables.
  • Conceptualizes, writes, and oversees a portfolio of marketing tools that support organizational objectives including print and electronic direct mail campaigns, content on UWS’s website(s), newsletters, and events.
  • Develops SEO strategies and uses engagement data and other metrics to continually improve results and ensures brand compliance.
  • Negotiates and places advertising in broadcast, print, digital and outdoor outlets.
  • Ensures timely and appropriate data collection, analysis, and reporting; collaborates to provide research and apply best practices to the design and continuous improvement of department activities. Evaluates progress and makes necessary adjustments to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Manages external collaborations.
  • Hires, trains, supervises, and coaches team members and/or volunteers to ensure program goals are achieved, and to provide outstanding internal and external customer service.
  • As an active member of the Leadership Team, contributes to organizational improvement and risk management.
  • Leads elements of budgeting and forecasting; effectively manages resources.
  • Develops and refines processes to improve efficiency and achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Embodies and consistently reinforces Our Suncoast Code and Values including applicable elements of leading self, team, and organization.

Qualifications & Skills for Success:

  • Typically requires six (6) or more years of relevant experience including management and supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; equivalent training or experience may be accepted in lieu.
  • Ability to work some evening and weekend hours.
  • Ability to work and drive in the field within the Suncoast region.
  • Bilingual or multilingual (English/Spanish/Creole) a plus.
