Position Description
The One Utah Service Fellowship is an AmeriCorps program that provides opportunities for young adults to participate in sustainable and high-impact service, addressing the critical priorities and needs in Utah while supporting debt-free pathways to higher education. United Way of Northern Utah unites people and organizations to build a healthy, stable, and well-educated community where individuals, families, and neighborhoods thrive. The Nonprofit Connection Fellow will assist in executing nonprofit training events, sending and managing surveys, streamlining Project Blueprint slide decks, creating marketing content, hosting check-ins for the new space, and picking up meeting food, etc. This position is located as part of the Nonprofit Connection in the Behnken Nonprofit Learning Campus and the fellow is meant to enhance the program's mission to enhance capability and capacity of Northern Utah nonprofits. Job Summary: - This position is 14 hours per week for 12 months - Minimum of 675 hours - Anticipated schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday 5 hours, Thursday 4 hours, evenings and weekends as needed Responsibilities may include: - Help building curriculum for programs under supervision - Running administrative errands - Assisting Nonprofit Incubator clients, tenants, and Director as needed - Collecting data in new areas - Developing or expanding volunteer program - Preparing tables and presentation material - Developing marketing campaigns

Eligibility Requirements: Be 17 years of age or older Have a high school diploma or GED Pass State & Federal background checks Be a U.S. Citizen, National, or Legal Permanent Resident

Member benefits and details: - Fellow will receive a living allowance equivalent to $10/hour (total living allowance = $6,750) while serving - Upon completion, successful fellows earn an education award of $2,817.14, which can be used for education costs up to cost of attendance or for eligible student loan repayment - Fellows may qualify for loan deferment and interest forbearance on federally- guaranteed student loans, with potential interest repayment while serving - Access to Member Assistance Program: Includes free telephonic mental health counseling, professional assessments, webinars, and exclusive discounts
