EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE: Experience working with persons with ID/DD preferred. Must possess an
understanding of the importance of person centered employment and
community activities that promote independence. Excellent people skills and
problem solving techniques required. Must be capable of working within
the guidelines of the Bureau of TennCare, the Area on Aging and
Disabilities, Managed Care Organizations, and all other applicable
governing and/or funding sources. Must possess a valid driver’s license with
an F endorsement, a dependable vehicle, and maintain liability automobile
insurance. Must maintain a flexible schedule. Must be able to multi task and
prioritize. Must ensure communication is friendly and displays a
professional and helpful demeanor. Must demonstrate compliance with all
Orange Grove, State, and Managed Care Organizations training
requirements. Must be able to accomplish agency and departmental goals.
Must assist with peer training, mentoring,and work as a cooperative team
environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Good overall physical health and personal stamina. Physical
examination, including TB skin test or chest x-ray is required. Must be able
to lift and position people to meet their physical therapy needs.
