Serves as initial contact for all callers and visitors to Animal Hospital at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. This position is the first impression a current or potential client sees or hears. This is a full-time position (40 hrs a week)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide superb customer service
- Must be well-organized and able to multi-task,
- Provide a liaison between client, vet technicians and veterinarians.
- Maintain a professional attitude at all times
- Being attentive to client and pet needs
- Identify and work compassionately with clients in various emotional states
- Work patiently with distressed, frustrated or disgruntled clients
- Answer phone calls from clients
- Schedule appointments and schedule procedures
- Check-in clients
- Monitor client flow from check-in to discharge
- Monitor schedule and flow
- Client call backs
- Manage record requests between other hospitals and specialty practices
- Other duties assigned by management.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs+
- Hourly Rate $15.00
- Schedule includes working Saturdays
- Past experience working with animals preferred.
