🔍 What You’ll Do
- Take the lead on preparing year-end statutory accounts in line with SORP and UK GAAP
- Build out best-practice processes so the finance team can manage this confidently in the future
- Ensure a smooth, auditor-ready submission - no last-minute scrambles
- Share insight and guidance on charity accounting standards, risks, and compliance
- Act as a mentor and sounding board for the internal finance lead

🧾 You’ll Need To Bring:
- A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA or equivalent)
- Strong experience in technical accounting and statutory accounts prep
- A background in, or exposure to, charity or not-for-profit organisations
- Excellent working knowledge of SORP and year-end compliance
- A collaborative approach and the confidence to guide others
- A calm, experienced voice in a team that’s open to being shown a better way
This might not be your longest contract of the year - but it could well be your most rewarding.
