This role involves:
Day to day, you will contribute to digital forensic investigations either independently or as part of a project team, under the supervision of experienced managers. Responsibilities include guiding junior staff, conducting forensic imaging, analysing digital artifacts, log files, and malware, preparing analytical summaries, engaging with clients, and producing formal reports.
What you will do?
- Conducting interviews internally and externally, which may include, but not limited to, understanding IT environments to identify sources of digital evidence
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary project teams
- Forensic imaging of storage media from computers, servers, mobile devices as well as data stored on cloud.
- Host forensic analysis of file system for Windows, Macintosh and Linux.
- Cryptocurrency investigations.
- Identify, collect, preserve, process and manage electronic data for electronic discovery (e-discovery) engagements.
- Perform email and document review to identify evidences.
Apart from the above, the Assistant Manager will be involved in:
- Lead team members in the research and development of latest form of digital evidence and forensic tools and procedures.
- Report writing, presentation and providing trainings.
