WWF-India is one of the largest organisations, engaged in wildlife and nature conservation for over 50 years. We invite applications from candidates for the position of Program Officer -Nature Connect Outreach & Communication to be based out of our New Delhi office.

Job Profile:
Outreach & Communication:
- Design and execute Nature Connect outreach campaigns aligned with the programme’s objectives.
- Document success stories, field highlights, and program milestones through written narratives, photographs and short films.
- Coordinate content planning and publishing for social media, newsletters, and communication collateral.
- Develop and manage communication material including brochures, posters, infographics, presentations, reports, etc.
- Curate and share weekly/monthly updates/stories from field teams
Field Storytelling & Content Development:
- Travel to project locations to gather visual and narrative content showcasing on-ground impact and engagement.
- Work with the Nature Connect team to convert field-based learnings into engaging multimedia content for awareness and capacity building.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Support the team in organizing awareness events, exhibitions, campaigns, and webinars to amplify programme visibility.
- Support internal communication efforts by contributing drafting reports for stakeholders.
- Provide support on logistics for activities and events.
- Outreach, Coordination and Communication with the stakeholders.
Requirements
Desired Qualifications, Experience & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Environmental Studies, Wildlife Sciences or related fields.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in communication roles, preferably related to environment, conservation or education sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to develop communication strategies and multimedia content for outreach and engagement
- Strong storytelling skills with experience in documentation, content writing, photography, videography or social media.
- Field-based work experience in outreach or educational programs will be an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Proficiency in creation of communication-related content – including writing, editing, visual design, and media production.
- Ability to document field stories and program impact effectively for diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with digital and print media tools (social media platforms, Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.).
- Comfort with field visits, travel and working with varied communities and age groups.
- Ability to work independently and in coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for nature, biodiversity and community engagement.
