ALSAC is seeking a strategic and collaborativeAdvisor – Technology Servicesto lead operational excellence across our IT organization. The Advisor – Technology Services (Delivery Operations) is a strategic partner in driving delivery excellence across IT and business teams. This role focuses on enabling effective collaboration, supporting delivery operations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Advisor works closely with the Director of IT PMO and Agile Delivery as well as other ITS leaders, team members, and stakeholders to ensure alignment between team engagement strategies and organizational goals.
What You’ll Do
As a trusted advisor, you will:
Lead Operational Strategy:Own and execute the operational roadmap for your designated service area, aligning with IT and organizational goals.
Drive Continuous Improvement:Use data-driven insights to identify trends, optimize processes, and uncover opportunities for innovation.
Facilitate Collaboration:Act as a connector across internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of technology strategies.
Enhance Performance:Measure and improve service delivery, proactively managing risks in areas such as business process integration, IT governance, talent management, and other technology services.
Champion Communication:Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders at all levels.
Ensure Compliance:Maintain alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements, implementing safeguards to mitigate risk.
Key Responsibilities
Implement strategies to support Agile delivery events, improve team effectiveness, and ensure seamless collaboration across functions.
Partner with team leads and stakeholders to refine workflows, minimize delivery gaps, and maintain alignment with project objectives.
Facilitate cross-team and cross-platform activities and retrospectives to strengthen cohesion, identify improvement areas, and celebrate successes.
Own and evolve internal engagement programs to promote open communication, trust, and shared responsibility within delivery teams.
Collaborate with IT leaders, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure engagement strategies align with technical goals and enterprise priorities.
What You Bring
Experience:3+ years in IT operations, fundraising, communications, supplier management, or related fields. Experience in budgeting, strategic planning, or organizational development is a plus.
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Communications, or a related discipline.
Skills:Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication and facilitation skills, and a passion for solving complex problems.
Mindset:Strategic, collaborative, and proactive with a commitment to excellence and impact.
