The Kitchen Coordinator provides healthy meals for THRIVE Girls Academy students and live-in staff as well as maintain a safe, clean kitchen, in compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Work with other departments to comply with all Texas Health Department & DFPS regulations
- Participate in campus events and chapels as required. Lead prayer, Engage in religious devotions and prayer
- Prepare Menu and meals for the students
- Maintain a clean kitchen which is at or above all standards set by the state
- Order supplies for the kitchen and maintain an adequate inventory
- Create healthy menus appropriate for students, including those with dietary issues
- All other duties as assigned by Director
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Maintain a state approved Food Handler’s Card Preferred Qualifications
- The Kitchen Coordinator is responsible to the Program Director and Program Coordinator
