Location: Laguna Niguel – Hanger Boutique
Pay Range: $18–$22/hour | Full-Time, Non-Exempt

We’re looking for a Fashion Boutique Assistant Manager who thrives in retail, loves fashion, and is inspired by mission-driven work. This is a unique opportunity to combine your leadership, customer service, and merchandising skills with a career that makes a difference.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with the Store Manager to drive sales and exceed boutique goals.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and build relationships with donors, clients, and shoppers.
- Merchandise weekly and seasonally, keeping the boutique stylish, upscale, and on-trend.
- Support e-commerce and social media sales tactics to extend boutique reach.
- Train and motivate volunteers and interns, creating an empowering team environment.
- Assist with scheduling, payroll considerations, inventory, and reporting.
- Travel locally as needed to other Hanger Boutiques, donation center, or corporate office.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional boutique environment.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive experience for everyone who walks through the door.
What Sets You Up for Success
- Passion for fashion, brands, and styling (upscale & luxury knowledge a plus).
- At least 1 year of retail experience (assistant manager or keyholder preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills; calm and professional under pressure.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced boutique environment.
- Mission-driven mindset with strong emotional intelligence and customer service focus.
- Tech-savvy with POS, Microsoft Office, and inventory systems.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Physical & Scheduling Requirements
- Ability to lift/move merchandise up to 50 lbs.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
- 30% local travel by car required.
- This role is in-person only (not eligible for remote or 9/80 schedules).
