Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Service, a related field or equivalent experience is required.
- Some relevant experience working with youth, including classroom teaching experience is preferred.
- Valid state driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to our insurance carrier.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of the outreach curriculum and the ability to maintain the integrity of the curriculum during delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish a good rapport with children and youth of all abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and other general office equipment.
- Organized thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and the ability to deliver programs confidently and professionally to groups of girls.
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers, and to represent the organization in a professional manner.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
- Ability to work on evenings and weekends occasionally.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time operating a computer, including navigating websites, software platforms, spreadsheets and both electronic and paper documents.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copier, and computer printer.
Occasionally positions self to maintain files in file cabinets.
May need to move boxes weighing up to 25 pounds across the office or to assignment for various needs.
The ability to observe details at close range and at a distance.
Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
Must be able to exchange accurate information.
Is required to drive/operate an automobile.
Work Environment
Routinely works in an indoor professional office, school or community environment. Occasionally works in an outdoor environment. Exposed to moderate noise levels.
