Pay Range $50,939.00 - $55,016.00 (Median Range $52,520.00)
I. Purpose and Summary of Position
The Social Media Coordinator manages TCFV’s online presence, and oversees TCFV’s social media
platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Tik Tok, and Twitter. This role will also
conduct or assist in market research as needed, assist in developing multi-platform social media
marketing campaigns, and assist with special social media projects, such as The Purple Postcard and
Domestic Violence Awareness month. Further, this position will take on graphic design duties as it
pertains to social media.

Social Media Coordinator will be an integral member of the team responsible for supporting all
social media activities. The Social Media Coordinator must be creative, calendar-driven, have a
passion for storytelling, be comfortable behind, as well as in front of a camera, and enjoy working
within a mutually supportive, collaborative, highly dedicated, and mission-driven team.
Priority Essential Functions/Accountabilities.
1. Content Development: 50%
• Support the development, creation, and publication of engaging text, images, and video content
and keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and trends for the agency. Collaborate
with programmatic department teams to support social media campaigns across departments. Ensure
social media content adheres to organizational branding and messaging.
• Attend communications meetings with external vendors and support/implement campaign ideas flowing
from those meetings.
2. Content Distribution: 40%
• Regularly update and maintain the TCFV social media calendar and help manage all social media
channels including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter.
• Strategize with the programmatic, marketing, and membership teams to create social media
campaigns and adhere to a regular publishing schedule aligned across all channels.
• Increase user engagement and web traffic by suggesting creative ways for promoting our agency
brand and attracting more visitors to our external sites.
- This should include graphic design as it pertains to social media.
• When needed attend events to capture content in the form of pictures and videos for the agency
and its partners, members and stakeholders.
• On-air and media scripting, as needed.
3. Administrative Responsibilities: 10%
• Monitor channel analytics and provide timely reporting to leadership.
• Respond to information inquiries submitted via social media channels.
