MA’AN’s Hub for
Innovation and Entrepreneurship Coordinator
Location: Ramallah
Reports to: Hub Manager

MA’AN development Center is a leading
Palestinian non-governmental organization dedicated to advancing development,
resilience, and empowerment in Palestine. We work with youth, women
entrepreneurs, and marginalized communities to build inclusive opportunities,
strengthen social economy initiatives, and promote innovation.
As part of our mission, we established
the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Hub, to support Palestinian youth
and women in developing entrepreneurial ideas, start-ups, cooperatives, and
digital solutions that address key socio-economic challenges. The Hub offers a
collaborative environment, capacity-building programs, mentorship, and both
incubation & acceleration services. It also facilitates access to national
and international platforms, networks and resources.
2- Purpose of the Position:
The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Hub Coordinator will oversee
the development, management, and expansion of the Hub. The role is responsible
for designing and implementing projects & programs that foster innovation,
entrepreneurship, and leadership among Palestinian youth and women. By promoting
social impact, digital transformation, and market access, The coordinator’s role is to empower
young entrepreneurs and leaders by supporting their growth and helping create
lasting positive change in Palestine’s social and economic development.
3- Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Design & Implementation
- Lead the establishment and daily management of the Innovation &
Entrepreneurship Hub.
- Design and implement together with the hub team, incubation,
acceleration, and mentorship programs tailored to youth- and women-led
start-ups, social enterprises, and cooperatives.
- Develop in collaboration with the hub team, training modules on
business development, innovation, financial literacy, digital skills, and
market access.
- Identify innovative solutions to socio-economic and environmental
challenges in Palestine.
- Manage and maintain the Hub’s digital portal, including content
updates, user engagement, and ensuring accessibility for youth and women
entrepreneurs in cooperation with the Hub team.
- Coordinating and building relationships with external partners,
donors, local organizations, government entities, and private sector
stakeholders.
2. Capacity Building & Mentorship
- Organize workshops, hackathons, innovation challenges, and
networking events.
- Build and maintain a pool of mentors, trainers, and industry experts
to support participants.
- Provide one-on-one coaching to youth and women entrepreneurs to
refine business models, pitches, and improve investment readiness.
- Develop evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of
capacity-building activities and mentorship programs.
- Facilitate access to funding opportunities by linking entrepreneurs
with investors, grant programs, or financial institutions.
- Promote inclusivity by ensuring capacity-building programs address
the needs of marginalized or underserved groups.
3. Partnerships & Networking
- Establish partnerships with local and international universities,
private sector actors, investors, donor agencies, accelerators, platforms and
innovation hubs.
- Strengthen linkages between start-ups and market opportunities at
national, regional, and international levels.
- Network with inspirational figures, role models, mentors.
- Promote collaborations with technology & IT companies and social
economy actors.
- Facilitate partnership agreements and Memorandums of Understanding
(MoUs) to formalize collaborations.
4. Resource Mobilization &
Sustainability
- Contribute to fundraising efforts and proposal development for
entrepreneurship projects and programs.
- Explore innovative financing models (crowdfunding, impact investment,
and micro-grants).
- Develop income-generating initiatives to ensure long-term
sustainability of the Hub.
- Maintain regular communication and reporting to keep donors informed
and engaged.
- Coordinate grant applications and ensure timely submission of
high-quality proposals.
- Monitor grant deadlines, requirements, and reporting obligations to
ensure compliance and maximize funding opportunities.
5. Monitoring, Evaluation &
Reporting
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitoring systems to
measure the impact of Hub activities.
- Collect, analyze, and report on data related to program performance
and participant progress.
- Document success stories, lessons learned, and best practices.
- Prepare regular narrative and financial reports for donors and
stakeholders.
- Contribute to internal reflection and learning processes to support
adaptive program management.
6. General Duties
- Mentor Hub team
members, ambassadors, and volunteers to ensure high performance,
collaboration, and alignment with the Hub’s objectives.
- Contribute to the strategic development and long-term planning of
the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Hub.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Innovation
Management, Entrepreneurship, Development Studies, or related field
(Master’s degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in entrepreneurship support,
innovation hubs, business incubation, or NGO project management.
- Proven track record in working with youth, women, and marginalized
communities.
- Experience in fundraising, proposal writing, and donor relations is
an asset.
2. Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of entrepreneurship ecosystems, start-up
incubation, and social economy in Palestine.
- Excellent program management, organizational, and coordination
skills.
- Ability to design and deliver training sessions and mentorship
programs.
- Strong networking and partnership-building abilities with private
sector and donors.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and public-speaking skills
(Arabic and English).
- Knowledge of digital platforms, innovation methodologies (design
thinking, lean startup), and ICT tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-changing
environment.

4.Work Conditions
·The work schedule is
40 hours per week.
·The probation period
is 3 months and can be extended to another 3 months according the Labor Law.
·Annual leave: 21
working days/year
·National and
Religious leave: 16 days per year.
·Sick leave: 14
days/year
·Indemnity
Payment: Equivalent to one month’s salary for each complete year of service.
·Reimbursement for
work related transportation expenses are according to MA’AN’s by- laws.
·Time flexibility is
recognized by both parties with consideration that this position might need to
do part of the work after 4:00pm.
