Inside Sales Representative
NACM Connect is a trade association for commercial credit professionals. We provide services to assist our members including credit groups, credit reports, credit references, credit application processing, collections services, credit law information and more.
NACM Connect provides education opportunities in credit, collections and related matters. NACM Connect is an Affiliate of the National Association of Credit Management. Our sales team has an opportunity to expand with the addition of an inside membership sales representative.
Day-to-day activities include:
- Responsible for generating sales through proactive outbound calls and effective communication with potential members. A typical day would involve 60-70 outbound reaches to prospects.
- Make a high volume of outbound calls to potential members from the provided lists. Think creatively to find look-a-like members.
- Handle member prospect inquiries and provide information about the products/services offered.
- Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects.
- Maintain prospects information and records of contacts and communication activities in the CRM system.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, a persuasive attitude, and a high level of customer service.
- The goal is to promote membership in the National Association of Credit Management, close sales and maintain a positive customer relationship. Qualify inbound leads, maintain active engagement with new and existing leads, identify new opportunities and engage potential clients
- Present membership benefits such as education, industry trade groups and credit reporting.
- Special projects to assist with administrative and sales teams as needed. Work closely with the sales team to promote synergies and achieve sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills including exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven experience in inside sales, customer service or a related field. Excellent phone etiquette and ability to build rapport quickly. Clear, articulate speaking skills.
- Good listening skills to understand customer needs.
- Persuasive and convincing in promoting products or services.
- Ability to handle objections, deal with rejection and close sales.
- A creative problem solver with strong analytical skills and basic understanding of sales principles and techniques.
- Patient and empathetic towards prospects, ability to build rapport and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Eager to learn new systems and processes
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic. Adaptable and flexible
- Open to creating content across all mediums: email, video, phone, social media, etc.
- Confident, determined and optimistic
- Comfortable building and maintaining relationships
Able to work as an individual as well as part of a team
Salary is $42,500 per year plus bonus & commission
