Job Summary
The Associate Director, Prospect Research & Philanthropic Grants, plays a key role in advancing the University’s fundraising priorities by integrating comprehensive donor and prospect research with strategic support for philanthropic grants. This position provides actionable intelligence on individual, corporate, and foundation prospects while collaborating with the Corporate and Foundation Relations team to strengthen and manage grant opportunities. The Associate Director will prepare high-quality research and briefing materials, guide grants-related timelines and requirements, and ensure that both prospect research and grant development efforts are aligned with the institution’s philanthropic strategy. This is a collaborative, hands-on role requiring strong research, project management, and communication skills. While the position does not directly supervise staff, the Associate Director works closely with development officers, advancement leadership, and campus partners to maximize donor engagement and philanthropic investment.
Requested Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited college or university. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in prospect research, fundraising, grant development, or a related field.
