Help the animals of Summit County by becoming a team member at our thrift shop, Happy Tails, located at 1770 Merriman Rd, Akron, OH 44313. All proceeds from the shop go directly to fund the life-saving work done at the Humane Society of Summit County shelter located in Cuyahoga Falls.
We are now accepting applications for a part-time Cashier(up to 24 hours per week) at the Happy Tails Thrift Shop. If you are an efficient, courteous individual who has excellent customer service skills, we want you!
The Cashier enters the customer’s selections into the register, ensures the prices and quantities are correct, correctly applies discounts, issues receipts, answers inquiries and provides helpful information about products, promotions and item locations, and maintains a clean workspace. Successful candidates will have a passion for working with antiques, vintage, retro and collectables of all types and be able to work weekends. The position is occasionally physically demanding.
