The role
We’re looking for a Gift & Donor Engagement Coordinator to join our Marketing Donor Experience team in Grafton This is a full-time role where you’ll be at the heart of making sure our incredible donors, supporters and families have the best possible experience with RMHC New Zealand.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing Operations, you will be responsible for providing donor and supporter administration support on a wide range of projects, contribute to creating systems and processes to improve our administration activities – plus help steward key partnerships that make our work possible. No two days will be the same!
You will play a key role in helping us build strong, lasting connections with the people and organisations who make our work possible; working closely with our Gift & Donor Administrator, providing support during busy times.
What your day to day will look like:
● Supporting donor administration, gift processing, and finance reconciliation
● Managing the Year End tax receipting process
● Tracking donation trends and forecasting fundraising performance for corporates, community and schools
● Providing admin support for fundraising events and community activities
● Maintaining accurate donor and partner records in our CRM (Salesforce)
● Helping steward and track major gifts, sponsorships and in-kind donations.
What we’re looking for:
● At least 2 years’ experience in an admin or support role (not-for-profit experience a bonus)
● Excellent knowledge of business support and administration procedures, policies, and procedures
● Tech-savvy with solid Microsoft Office skills and CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
● Strong attention to detail and great organisational skills – detail focused and proactive
● A natural people-person with strong communication and relationship skills.
