Job Summary: The Sonographer is responsible for client medical services including pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, and associated documentation. This position reports to the Program Director of Pregnancy and Adoption

Duties/Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Principal Activities:
- PROVIDES all client services in a professional, compassionate, and nonjudgmental manner based on the individual client's needs and in accordance with CCANO's mission, philosophy, policies.
- Client services include ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, education on pregnancy-related options and Medicaid applications.
- PARTICIPATES in annual training as required, including RDMS certification requirements and Medicaid Application Representative Certification training.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Sitting, Standing, Walking, Talking, sitting at a desk, and working on a computer. Must be able to lift fifteen pounds at times. Physical Demands: Sedentary physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature.
- Stand less than 33% of time on duty.
- Walk less than 33% of the time on duty.
- Sit between 33% and 66% of time on duty.
- Use of hands to finger, handle or feel over 66% of time on duty.
- Reach with hands or arms less than 33% of time.
- Full ability to talk and hear.
- Correctable vision required.
- Able to lift/carry up to 15 lbs.
Minimum Educational and General Qualifications:
- Active license to practice as an RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer).
- Three years' experience in a clinical medical practice or hospital preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
