Join our
team of lifeguards and swim instructors to maintain the
health and safety of all participants, and provide
high-quality programming, while building relationships with
members and program participants. This part-time position is
available at our Houser branch in Onalaska, WI.
Shift options: daytime hours (mornings and afternoons)
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the
health and safety of all participants
- Enforce
rules and expectations
- Constant
vigilance of pool activities
- Conduct
YMCA Learn-to-Swim lessons

Requirements
- Must
be at least 15 years old
- Lifeguard
Certification (for lifeguards only)
- CPR/AED for the
Professional Rescuer Certification (lifeguards
only)
- YMCA
Water Instructor Certification preferred
(Instructors only)
- Must
enjoy working around children and adults of all
ages
